Brent Hocking Consulting Arborist — operating as TreeTruth™

Effective date: 1 June 2026 · Hamilton / Greater Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Here is a plain-English summary of what you are agreeing to when you book a TreeTruth consultation. By booking, you accept the full Virtual Consultation Terms linked below.

What TreeTruth Is

A TreeTruth consultation is a remote, video-based advisory session with Brent Hocking, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist® #ON-2667B. You bring the tree questions; Brent gives you straight, expert guidance based on what you show him.

Brent has no financial interest in any tree work that results from the consultation. He does not sell, bid on, or perform removals or pruning. The advice is independent and conflict-free.

What a Consultation Is Not

A TreeTruth consultation is advisory and educational only. It is expressly not a formal tree risk assessment (Level 1, 2, or 3), a written arboricultural report suitable for permits or legal proceedings, or a substitute for an on-site inspection. If your situation requires any of those, Brent will tell you, and they are available separately through Brent Hocking Consulting Arborist.

Remote Limitations

Advice is based solely on what you show and describe during the call. No tree is climbed, probed, or physically examined. Brent cannot independently verify site conditions, property boundaries, or measurements. Trees are living organisms, and no remote consultation can guarantee a tree will remain standing or healthy.

Your Responsibilities

Fees and Payment

Cancellation and No-Shows

You may reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours notice for a full credit toward a future consultation. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows are non-refundable.

Liability

Our total liability in connection with any consultation is capped at the fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Guidance is valid at the time of the consultation; trees change, and periodic re-assessment is recommended.
